Senate Bill 293 of 2011 is the Senate proposed form of HB 4936, or "PIP Choice." The bill would have allowed consumers to choose from varying levels of coverage beginning as low as $50,000. If an insured failed to select a coverage level, the lowest would be automatically applied. This bill also would have restricted access to the Assigned Claims Facility.
