House Bill 4785 of 2011 would have subject the MCCA to the Freedom of Information Act as well as the Open Meetings Act. In addition, the bill would have required an annual audit of the MCCA by an independent certified CPA and would have elevated the Insurance Commissioner to a voting member of the MCCA board.
